I agree!! When I seen it last night on the Aeroworks site I almost fell off the couch. Could end up being my 4th AW plane in the hanger.

Ya I like them both.. the orange is nice though! I would have a hard time choosing, I think the orange might get the pick since there are lots of yellow planes out there. Ihave actually never played around with a big newer design Edge. The last 100cc Edge I played around with was an old Aeroworks kit that wasn't setup right and way built too heavy. I like the HAKE with Edges and the tumbles though.

Although I must admit, for the new Extra I am in love with the yellow one

Mark you guys are going to cause me a divorce! She has already agreed on the 100cc Ultimate when it came on the market and now this. Oh well I guess we will just have to win some more races. BTW I have a couple of things for you from the shop, how about the #2 Intake and exhaust valves from Jeff's engine he won Texas with! I will bring some other things home and pack it up and send it your way.

My wife is the same, she supports me all the way in this hobby, she goes to the field sometime. Tells me all the time that I need to finish the plane that I have so we can get another one! She's waiting on the 100cc Ultimate.

I thought the 100cc Extra was going to be my next plane.  I was wrong.

BME 116 Xtreme with 7955's all round in this bird will be a 3D godzilla!   We need video!

Hey everyone. Thought I would jump in here and share my experiance with the new 100cc Edge 540.
I made it out on friday to do some flying with Rocco from Aeroworks and a good friend of ours, Randy.
Rocco brought out the prototype of the 100cc Edge. I just love this plane! I am really serious about getting one of these.
The Orange scheme is just beautiful and shows very well in the air. Watching Rocco fly it was just awesome!
I was really excited when he asked if I wanted to take the sticks. I didn't try anything crazy or that, just some
basic flight and some KE passes which were great. The plane flies very nice! Rocco did some amazing harriers with the Edge and I didn't see
any wing rock. I was really amazed when he did an awesome harrier landing with and it and landed so gentle.
Those of you who are in line to get one will be very pleased.

Check out the photos. Rocco is doing the flying.
The one picture is the 100 Edge, my 75cc Extra 260 and Randys 100cc Extra 300.

Cool he fixed it. It sure does look good, I can hardly wait. Problem for me is by the time they are out and I get mine the flying season up here will be just about over. I will have to wait until next year to fly mine.

Thanks for the great comments the Edge is incredibly easy to fly and the bright orange color scheme makes it VERY EASY to see. I had a blast flying it this past weekend and am looking forward to enjoying even more flights on it soon.

Thank You

Quick question please Rocco.

As the horizontal stab-elevators are pre-hinged and glued, the maximum throw angles are fixed in balsa.. so-to-speak. Can you please report the maximum degree deflections on the elevator of the 100cc Edge for me?

Cheers,

Andrew.
