Hey Mark, is this an overkill for the .46 - .60 ProX260 QB "Freestyle"?

I definately want one, but which of these would be best suited for an OS 61SF 2 cycle? I have one NIB and they've always been among my favorite engines.

I already have a 91FX and 95AX on two other Aeroworks models (luv them) but dont want to buy another engine that size, nor do I have a smaller engine more suitable for the smaller profile. I'm thinking the smaller of the two models, but I'm not sure as my 61 seems ideal for neither of them. For me, this would be for fun & sport flying, not looking for the ultimate in 3D stuff.

The 95AX is on an AW 60-90 size Yak 54, just put together over the winter. Our field opens next Saturday so it should be flying very soon. The quality of this model was outstanding, and I've been in the hobby for almost 40 years now & am pretty demanding.

Hey Mark , They look pretty nice . I haven't found a profile yet though that was durable with a two piece wing . Have you guys done much gravity testing on these ? Also , how is the fuse designed ? Got Tube ?

Anyhow it looks nice . Look forward to seeing a Vid . Make sure whoever flys it in the vid really wrings it out . Lets see what this baby can do . I'd say with its weight a Hunert oughta do real well .

The 2 piece wing design on ours is very durable and has proven to be plenty strong thus far.

We opted to leave the tube out of the fuse, we felt it was just a simple fix for a week fuse design that could easily be improved upon with our building techniques. So far it has proven to work well!

We should have a video up on our site in the next 2-3 weeks.

Mark,

Would you say the OS95AX should be enough power for the 60-90 sized profile?

We hope to have one posted soon!

Been over a month since your last post . Gana give us a vid ? We have been having a lot of wind here too . The slabs I fly can handle 15-20mph winds in capable hands . One is an old Lanier Radical .

Common , Lets see if your slabs fly as good as they look . If you have any dorks leave them in the footage so we can see the outcome . Not gana pre-order till I see how it flys .

Winds are listed as 10mph there today in Aurora,Co. .

I can live without a tube, but I sincerely hope that you used SOME kind of composite material to reinforce the fuselage. Flat piece of carbon fiber or anything? Any moderate crash will have it snap right behind the wing saddle otherwise. Never yet found a profile that is able to withstand those kind of forces without some kind of material besides wood to strengthen it.

Any video yet?

Thanks mark. Any idea when we can get a video and possibly see the manual. I'm pre-ordering within the next week and my buddy is ordering one by the end of the month.

I already wonder about this one . Its due to be released this month . Yet there are no vids on youtube or on AW's site . They have not shown it off at any big flying events or there would be footage . Not to mention this thread is only a page long . If I had something that was the schiznik I would be showing it off and trying to get some hipe behind it . Pretty poor marketing especially in this economy . If anyone is following the AddictionX thread on RCG you know what I am talking about . You didn't toast your prototypes did you ?

AW , Check this link out . These are the guys that purchase profiles . If you got something good stand up for it . You have some disbelievers out there. They think weight is everything . I have an old Lanier Radical that works great for me . It is a 40 size bird that comes in at 4lbs . When I throw a big lipo on it is 5lbs and it floats fine . So I don't go along with that . The missing tube in it has still got me concerned . http://www.the******************.com...p?f=84&t=26392

This stupid site wont put the name of the site in where the stars are . Its the ProBro site . It wont even let me put the name in full down here . I'm outa here . You can have this website . Too much moderation going on here .
