mejzlik 22x10, JR 4131 servos I think... Not sure on rest, the plane would be insane with a DA50!

Another great video, John. Thanks for providing the service!

Sweet looking plane, too. I can't wait for the BME Ulty to come out. It will be the year for Battle of the Ultimates!

Hey john what is dale's set up other then the 3.2. do you now??

It's a real mutt. JR, Futaba and Hitec all in one! Perfect harmony right[&:]. It was all of the odds 'n ends I had. 5945 for the rudder, 9402 on the ele and 4721 in the wings. Set the hinges to get like 75 deg throw in the wing ~50 in the ele and all I could get in the rudder without putting it through the vertical stabs. I did no mods to the ARF, just put it together and flew it.

Do you need all that throw or could I get away with a little less ?more like 45 deg all the way around. How do you think it will 3D like that , did you beef up the engine box at all, I did it looked a little week. are there any pit falls we should look out for ,,,any help .Thanks
David

you dont need a ton on the ailerons, I flew it on his 'low' rates and they were fine for every manuever, elevator is all you can get as is rudder.

Im sure 45 will work, it would be easier to rework it now than later, But Im sure 45 is enough.

well, that is the one I pre-ordered from Aeroworks, and I just hope it flies like the smaller one in the video. Actually it has to fly like that. Looks like an awesome capable 3D machine. I ordered it in the same color scheme btw. Does it show up good in the sky ? It's hard to tell from the video.

I was just thinking some name stuff here and there to label it up a little. Like an engine decal on the cowl, that type of thing.

I cut my own decals, and can do yours too!

OK heres the whole set up...

Total weight all up: 15.1 lb
Brison 3.2, 24oz tank, 9602 in Ele, 4721 in wings, 5945 for rudder, Sullivan control horns, titanium links, 2700 6V receiver, 1250 4.8V ign, True-turn 3.5" 22X10 Mejzlik, Nelson Pull-Pull set up, Dubro hinges. Used all extra formers for engine box and just pinned the firewall. No other reinforcing. It weighs just a tad more than an Aerodrone 80" Extra I had the Brison in prior but flies sooo much lighter! John says you dont need all that throw, maybe he's right but this thing rolls, spins and blenders like nothing else I have seen.... like blurr fast, I like it. Pretty trick little plane.

Dale
