Glad you liked it! Turns out the aircraft is based at the Tillamook Air Museum in Oregon if anyone wants to get up close and personal.

RE: P-38 Video Narrative
Unfortunately, the P-38 in the video was a twin to the Ericson airplane at Tillamook. Ericson's Tillamook crew restored both of them, which were ex-Mark Hurd photomappers, in exchange for one of them. The owner agreed and both were completed.
Jeff Ethell was allowed to fly this one for the video and after the filming was completed he was flying it for his father and family and the airplane crashed and Jeff was killed.
The owner said he was going to donate the airplane to the Smithsonian and had kept both airplanes in storage since the 60's until he could have them restored. A terrible shame to lose the airplane, yet even worse that my friend Jeff Ethell was killed.

Chris. Very sorry to hear about your friend and fellow aviator. Aviation is one of the most rewarding,
and one of the most unforgiving pursuits that man can have. Thanks for passing along that background.
