JFK shuttle Enterprise landing...VIDEO!
I was lucky enough to be invited to see the Enterprise flown into JFK on the back of the 747 SCA (Shuttle Carrier Aircraft). It was super windy, but was an incredible site to see. They did a sweet low pass over the runway before bringing it in. Leonard Nimoy was there and had a few words to say about how Enterprise was originally to be called Constitution, but Trekkies went on a letter-writing campaign to have it changed. Awesome stuff!

It is awesome. It looked like a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Though, I have to wonder if some little child was riding on the train in video 2 and looked out and said "Mommy! Mommy! I can see a Space Ship!" and the parent just patting their head with a "Of course you can, kiddo." never lifting their eyes off their newspaper...

Thanks for posting ur videos, i totally understand ur feelings n i would have asked same as u did. These are historical evenyts that were part of closing chapter of Shuttle flights, so im glad u mafe n shared ur videos. I did the same with pictures on Concorde when it flew in n out of Toronto....Thanks once again.
Btw do u know if pics or videos r made when Shuttle was taken off the SCA n then its way to Intrepid Museum.
