KR2 builders or flyers out there?
Buddy of mine just got a partial KR2 kit and asked me to help him build it. He's got a lot of model building experience, and so do I. I've been an A+P since '80, and restored a PA-18-150 back in the mid 80's so I know I can handle building it, but I haven't read very much on the KR2.
Just wondering if anybody has any experiences building and/or flying one?
Thanks, Tom.

I'm currently working on an RV-7A Quickbuild as well, but my brother-in-law has a partially built KR-2 that started out as a standard "short" KR2 but he stretched it into the S model.
I'll dig up his email address if you'd like to contact him. PM me.
CDDave, what engine are you planning for your RV7?

RE: KR2 builders or flyers out there?
I was origionally going to do the Eggenfellner subaru....but decided I can't afford it. I"m going with a Lycoming 320 from Wentworth Aircraft. They have great deals of full packages. I want to be able to run autogas and the 320's and 180 HP 360's all have low enough compression to run it (and they're STC'd for it in the real world) I'm going to put a cruise prop on it. A friend of mine who has an RV-8 told me the Constant Speed wasn't worth the money for him....and I'm a KISS kind of guy.
