WW I prop advice
A friend has come across a full scale ~6 foot oak prop which looks to be in good shape and is looking for info as to its authenticity and worth.
The tips have metal sheets on the LE and the center hole has not yet been drilled ie, it is unused. It looks to be of WW I vintage.
Any ideas or leads are appreciated.

Too small to be a WW1 prop. Probably a Cub or like prop. You can still buy wood props like that new. I also think reject props are turned into things like wall clocks which might explain the non drilled center, so buyer beware.
