Thanks for that, Bax... but I don't think I could afford the fuel needed just to taxi that thing to the end of the runway...

but we can dream, can't we

Merry Christmas,

Bob

OK, anyone got the guts to call and get a price?

i have friends that have bought migs. After turning a lot of money into noise, they sold them.

That one would be way fun!

It god to see that Pride has the SU-27 up and flying now. I wonder if you have to kool the wheel brakes with water after a flight like we do when we fly the Mig-23. That would be an air show worth attending, to have bouth planes there, and fly them!

Don’t give me static for replying to an “old thread”. Delete if it’s not valid I say! These planes are probably built in the 80s. That’s older. Anyway, these two su-27s as far as I can find, have been bought by our government, deregistered, and reside in a hangar near groom lake Nevada. (Gov, if you’re reading this, it’s my fav plane and what I would give to fly one!) Our cousin-hobbyists, plane watchers or spotters caught a pic of one in air combat with an f-16 near 30k’ from outside the fence. No one has seen them since. Thank you plane spotter!
