Of the end of valujet, 13th birthday this year. They ceased operations this month, 13 years ago, be thankful thay did.

Valuejet is now Air Tran. They just changed their name. Flew with them last December to Dallas.

Ceasing operations is not a birthday, it is the ceasing of operations. You can say it is the 13th aniversary of the end of Valuejet, thats it. 157 emergency landings a year? where did you get that number?

That number sounds high, but not too out of line. Emergencies encompass many things, including passengers having heart attacks.

To celibrate the end of an airline (especially in this case, because the only thing that really changed is the paint and the paperwork) is ignorant.
