Default Boaters servos??

What servos are boaters using now? I am building a 60 sized seaplane and won't need a lot of torque but I would like it to be waterproof like the old '161 used to be.[:-]

Default RE: Boaters servos??

Chip, the 161's are the only current "waterproof" servos. However, any of our servos that use an o-ring can be "made" waterproof with just a tiny big of work.
1. remove the case and add some grease to the bearing and around the output shaft.
2. Apply silicone sealer to the spot where the wires exit the bottom of the servo case
3. Apply some silicone sealer to the screw heads.

Make sure you get the o-rings in place when you re-install.
