Does anyone know where I can get a buddy box for an RDS 8000? Or better yet, will a Futaba or Hitec transmitter work?

From what I understand, only another RDS8000 can be used - other vendor's TXs will not work.

you need tio use an RD or RDS8000 or one of the older Airtronic Tx's.I use and RD8000 quite successfully.

Several club members have purchased VG400 transmitters to use as buddy boxes with their RDS8000s. The VG400 is a nice solid 4-channel sport radio and this makes for a good, inexpensive solution. Just check your favorite classifieds and/or auction sites.
