I love my RDS8000
Just wanted to say that I love my RDS8000...
everytime I think I need a shiny new tx... I realize my tx does all i need it to..
optical engine kill.. oh i have a channel for that.... mix ailerons with elevons... oh it does that too...
8 channel heli... wait.. I have that...
thanks, Airtronics... If and when I decide to get a new radio... It'll be the SD10g.

I've been a fan for a very long time for similar reasons. They do what we need them to do, and then some. As an SD10 owner (and RD8000 as well) I can tell you the SD10 only raises the bar.

I really like both radios, I use my RDS800 as my carry radio. I have it in the van with a couple of electrics in case a flying field jumps in front of me. The SD-10G I use for my Giant Scale gas planes. The throttle curve is one reason, stick switches are another, they really can reduce workload in certain situations.
Cheers,
Whitney

RE: I love my RDS8000
I should change this post to "I love my SD10G"
I broke down and bought one... It's such an awesome radio... I need to learn of the cool things you can do with it, like assign switches, etc... but it'll be fun learning

RE: I love my RDS8000
I Agree with all of the above posts, I too started with an RDS8000, then moved up to the SD10G.. love it, I still have alot of learning to do, as far as programming goes, but otherwise love both transmitters..
