RE: Finish wearing off my SD-10G
Just a thought...
I was Perusing Youtube, and found a pretty cool painting technique.. How about a One Off Swirl paint job??

Although I would practice a bit on something a little less important first..

Interesting. Is your radio two years old or did you buy it two years ago? You might have bought one of the older 2009 radios. Please post a picture of your radio.

Any updates on this? Does the new black case fit the older SD10G? My finish isn't flaking but it is pitting, and it looks bad.
Do the newer versions have nicer feeling switches?
I don't like how the transmitter fits in my hands (even with a neck strap I'm fighting the balance of the radio), and I don't like the feel of some of the switches. However whenever I look at new radios I realize how much I'd be giving up in features and programming. I absolutely love the programming of this radio and the reliability.
