Program SD-10G stopwatch
Just bought an SD-10G that's going into my first electric plane. I want to use the radio's stopwatch as a flight timer by turning the stopwatch on when the throttle stick is advanced from no/low throttle then turning it off when the throttle is at or near 0 (or -100%?). I've assigned the stopwatch to the throttle stick but can't get it to stop when I move the stick to 0. If I set Start and Stop to the throttle stick the stopwatch starts then stops each time I advance the stick from 0. Not good for using the stopwatch as a flight timer! Is there any way to do what I want to do??
Thanks, Bidwin |

One other thing I do for my electric models is to set a throttle off switch ie an arming switch. I use Switch 22/23/24 for this : TH-CUT>22 or 23 so only when in position 24 is the throttle live. Hope that helps. Dave L |

opps.,..one other thing I have set it the sw Assign
START>S1 AND24 so it will only start when the Throttle is armed STOP>S2 OR23 so that cutting the throttle off completely stops the timer. Hope that helps. |

Dave L,
Thanks much for the informative response. Your timer setup is what I was looking for, and I appreciate your adding the throttle cut feature. Weather just turned cold and rainy again, so looks like I'll have to wait another week or so to try your solutions real time. Pippin, Thanks for the link. I stumbled across it after reading another thread. Didn't see the second timer section, though, until today. Similar to Dave L's solution. Bidwin |
