I am happy to report that our club #4933 Magnolia Aeromodeling Club has dodge the fire all week-the fire is now 22,000 acres and has burned over 150 structures, my thoughts and prayers extend to those families that have been evacuated and lost their homes.

That's good news, but we have a long way to go before we can relax. The traditional wildfire season is just starting in Texas, La Nina has returned, and the drought is expected to remain through next spring, at a minimum.

Yes great news indeed-we have also have disc the entire 50 acres minus the pilot stations and runway in preperation-we now have nothing but dirt

Good Planning, Jim. On TV I see guys with rakes and hoes doing what a bulldozer should be doing. One would think that these Home0wner Insurance companies would be out there with 'dozers and big stuff to work with. OOPS guess that is wrong because the Federal government will bail them out. [:@]
