The task force only met for a total of 3 days. The original plan didn't require cbo members to join.
Looks to me like the FAA needs to answer to the citizens.

This guy built a shed after his basement filled up. Has about 150 planes like this. He buys them, then puts them together with all top of the line gear, then looks at them. Eventually they go back to the store be bought the plane from, and up into the ceiling it goes. I bought this (all new including the AR8000) for just over list for the arf. Unreal. Store takes 30% of the sale...got the guy for retail, and then some later on. I missed the Dueces wild by days, same deal. All new, never flown. He had 4 more up there I wanted, from Foamy to high end Sbach with LEDS..there is only much I can get though. I'm trying the buy one sell three technique for 2016. Maxford just released news on one I'm into as well. It's a sickness.

Nice looking aircraft and congratulations on the find. N number and all.
Just curious if the pilot registration numbers are in a consistent format too?
If
X = letters
0 = numerals
Mine is
XX00XXXXX0
The five letters together actually spell a proper word - random coincidence or is that what others are seeing too?

Only 50 people talking about it according to one poster and I would guess close to half have registered. But outside of this site and others, I doubt many people know, and those who have AMA e-mail have probably gotten it. So I would guess maybe 20% of AMA people have or are about to register. Just a guess though.

I've got another question: What if you have an ARF, never assembled, in its original box. No radio, no engine, nothing to make it flyable. Just the air frame alone. Does that have to be registered? If it has to be registered, can I get rid of it instead by selling it? I'm asking, because I just want to avoid liability. Thanks.

Question Whose number must be on/in the craft if some one other than the Owner is flying it.
another question ... I have a student here for the winter from Canada flying under the Intro Pllot Program. Does his plane need a Registration number if so WHO's. No Conjecture PLEASE. Facts only backed by URL to the REGS.
Now who's registration number goes on alub trainer. Instructor/Student or Club Officer. Who is really considered the OWNER?

NFS Read the registration page ...U are registered not the plane U only need YOUR number on it while it's flying. If it is Yours.

lets me fly his plane or I fly someones else's I am not going to worry about the numbers if he tells me the plane has one thats good enough for me. I think for the most point we are making a bigger issue out of this
than it really is.

As to the club trainer I would guess the person in command of the model should have their # on it while they are operating it. All you would have to do is tape your # to the model and remove it when done. If a buddy
