I am looking at an ad, right now on this rcu page, for the DHL Parcelcopter 3.0! wth! All joking and snide remarks aside, I cannot help but wonder if the real reason rc is starting to be "regulated" really does have something to do directly with autonomous package delivery and the airspace it will need. Think about it, laser pointers cause huge problems and you can buy them anywhere with no registration, but fly a small, light aircraft and you have to register with the FAA? I just cannot help but think that there is some kind of alterior motive here.

There are many reasons and this one certainly plays a part.

I'm sure it's not the only reason. Safety is certainly one. I didn't mean it in a crazy conspiracy kind of way. lol.
