Well, let me see where can I start:
1) running across the street in front of traffic
2) smoking
3) excessive drinking
4) driving under the influence
5) texting while driving
6) texting while walking down the sidewalk
7) putting hands into the blade of a power saw without unplugging it first
8) mixing alcohol with medication
Is that enough for you Porcia?

Sure, it's a simple answer from you. But you didn't make the generalization that there is no challenge with MR technology did you? Maybe you did as well, can't remember. All that chest thumping tech talk got me confused.
BUT..the issue isn't one of desire, it was of technical challenge. A common generalization from some folks (many of which have never flown a MR let along built one) is that they are so simple, so easy, anyone could fly it. They completely dismiss the skill set that is required to, in some case actually fabricate the body, built it, wire it, then program it. As if you know....its so simple a caveman could do it. Like Speedy, I've asked many "traditional" rc dudes (you know, scratch/kit balsa builders) if they could slap either a drone or FPV or even racing MR together and fly it....not one has give me an answer. You are as close as it's gotten, but you sorta dodged the question and brought in the desire issue, rather than the technical skill and ability issue.
No rain....lucky! No coffee....how about tea? Fruit smoothy? What's your poison?

Sully did it on training and reacting due to said training. You don't just land a twin jet in water on instinct, just ask the Airbus crew that crashed into the south Atlantic. That's right, you can't, their no longer living after a 35,000 foot fall due to stalling the plane after the auto pilot failed from a frozen pitot tube

If there are chickens is on a road, they are only there because they are looking for food, just like they do for 98% of the rest of the day. Otherwise, a chicken is either laying an egg or sleeping. Sorry, I used to raise chickens so that one isn't going to phase me

LOL I can't believe you responded to that. Don't know a joke when you hear one?

My car insurance has gone up tremendously. Insurance company says because the State of Georgia has allowed them to raise the rates due to the total accidents though I have none. Seems they were paying out more than they were taking in.

Models and full scale have coexisted for years with no problems so there is absolutely no reason for a airport to have any say about what is going on elsewhere that does not directly conflict with their operations. If
there is no conflict then stoping someone from flying their model will help anything.

Then why are there NOW so many reports of sUAS near misses with aircraft, operations in areas where prohibited, near firefighting efforts, etc?

"REPORTED A UAS OPERATING AT 800 FEET IN THE DEPARTURE CORRIDOR"
"WHILE ON EMERGENCY OPERATIONS REQUIRED EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID A UAS"
"REPORTED A RED UAS WITH 4 PROPELLERS WAS HOVERING 200-300 FEET ABOVE ACFT"
"TAKING EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID A NMAC WITH A UAS"
"OBSERVED A BLUE UAS HEADING NW PASS 100-200 FEET BELOW LEFT WING"
"A REMOTE CONTROLLED AIRPLANE WHILE ON A 3 MILE FINAL TO SNA AT 1,100 FEET. PIC REPORTED UAS WAS 100 FEET BELOW ACFT"
"OBSERVED A UAS OPERATING IN THE CLASS B AIRSPACE"
There's more...these are just the ones where LE was notified.

Why does he need NTSB reports? When he gave the link to a college study, he was told it was probably falsified for financial gain. Sounds to me like there's some splitting hairs going on
