400 foot? NOPE

For someone who criticizes nearly everything the AMA publishes I figured you would lead by example and demonstrate what a perfect document looks like, this way the AMA could use it for reference. Unfortunately, your deliverable doesn't live up to the perfection you expect of the AMA.

In one word AMA. I thought it was a good idea until the FAA came out with their interpertation of #336. Then I Realized U just don't tell the IRS EPA or FAA (HOW) to do their job. They take offence at that. I believe the FAA is trying to back off while saving face. What do U think?

that come in over 55 LB’s but as long as the FAA won’t try to stop them flying because they don’t have a AMA inspection it will be ok.

I don’t think congress thought this through very well because if rule #336 would be followed to the letter and something would happen to the AMA any one that wanted to fly a over 55 LB model would be in trouble until
a new CBO was in place. Also flying over 400 ft and operating turbines could become a issue as well.

Just came to take a look around. He had his little dog with him. I offered him a buddy box flight.
If you draw 5 mile bubbles around JIA and Craig Executive FIeld we are between the two and just outside the bubbles so they know we are there and nobody really bothers with us much.

I know of two instances where not only the FAA, but the Secret Service AND Homeland got involved with a club. The Coachella Valley RC Club had a jet event that got caught in a VIP TFR. The AMA and the club worked on short notice with all 3 agencies and the event went off without a hitch. FAA/SS/DHS all seemed more than happy to work constructively with the club and were impressed with what they saw.

ACS Updated and 41 Part 107 Sample Test Questions Answered
I created three new articles. I highly suggest you start with the first because each builds on the previous.
Part 107 (ACS) Airmen Certification Standards Explained.
When Part 107 was released, a flurry of other documents and website material came out also. Everyone skimmed through but did not take the time to really study things carefully. The FAA released a draft version of the Part 107 (ACS) Airmen Certification Standards for remote pilots. The ACS is really a standard by which to measure if you are qualified. Continue reading......
Part 107 Draft ACS Updated! The FAA released a draft Airmen Certification Standards ["ACS"] around the time Part 107 was released. Read why the ACS is important. It was updated and a final version was published. Two of the most significant changes below are the percentages of certain test subjects were INCREASED. If you are studying for the exam, it is extremely important to know what was changed so you can properly allocate your time. Continue reading.......
Part 107 Knowledge Test (41 Questions Answered & Explained)
This article will discuss the 41 sample Part 107 knowledge test questions based upon my knowledge as a practicing aviation attorney and current FAA certificated flight instructor. I’m going to break the pages up into 10 questions a piece so as to decrease page load time.
The FAA issued 40 sample questions to help individuals study for the Part 107 Knowledge Test. Later they issued a study guide which included 1 new question.
The Part 107 initial knowledge exam will be 60 questions and you will have 2 hours to complete it. The minimum passing score is 70% which is a maximum of 18 questions wrong or a minimum of 42 questions right. Continue reading......

this is the TFR for the VIP (President) on vacation in Martha's Vineyard. Note they have 7 GA airports shut down and also 4 R/C Fields with in the TFR Radius for 19 days. Too bad he doesn't take up R/C.
