Are you being obtuse, or do you just disagree?

I disagree! One may join for the insurance.

Agreed. I think he has been the dominate voice of AMA for the past several years anyway. I'm not on board with his big push for 'embracing' drones, though not against drones per se. I just don't want to share the flight line or flyover area with folks that can't see my model airplane while I'm flying, nor am I amenable to time sharing at the flying site to avoid conflict. I hope he has some plans for establishing suitable but separate operating spaces for them.

Just to be clear, and I base this on numerous conversations with Rich, when he says he supports "drones" it is to the extent that they are willing to operate within the AMA Safety Code. He in no way supports the cowboys out there causing us issues.

None of the people running supported the " cowboys out there causing us issues". All his election means is the focus of the organization will remain on courting the drone crowd. Rich won fair and square and deserves a chance to lead.

What I did take away from this election and find interesting is that the candidates running on the "traditional" platform did pretty good and does send a message that the membership ( that took the time to vote) still sees the focus the organization as a issue.

Yes that is what happens, and I see no problem with that.

The AMA updated posted a total for all votes. From the comments submitted members wanted a full list. I've attached the PDF file.

I just spent a week living with each candidate and I still don't know enough about them to pick one over the other.
Hey BTW...did anything COOL happen here while I was gone...?

I just checked the AMA site. and looked at the results. Looks like what I said about Frank T was a good guess. Now I need to go back and see what Porcia did.

Well the blowing winds have died down around here and the weather has changed. Just accept it and go in peace.
