why is AMA membership so cheap?
Just figured out that my subscription to Aviation Modeller International magazine costs more than my year's AMA membership.

my understanding was that was for only new people joining to encourage membership, if not, can someone point to a corrected document as the one on the AMA website (granted it is linked to someone elses, but since they are doing it makes it official) still shows the old prices.
Unless your talking a youth membership, then that has always, to my knowledge, been cheaper.

I am not sure the membership is that cheap.
However, it seems the membership want good use of their money. (some politics is also going on)
I personally don't think the AMA dues are too high .... just what better ways can they use all of our money. I believe that is more the issue(s).
Remember .... we are talking about $10 million dollars per year just in member dues.... It could go a long way to help the cause ???
