Default AMA Fee structure Questions

Is the AMA member fee $58 straight across the board?

I am hoping that there is some kind of college student discount, because with the high cost of this hobby, it's hard for college students to take part in this great hobby properly.

And part of doing this hobby properly is to make sure we are ALL safe, and that encludes a membership to the AMA.

It is just frustrating to spend $60, and not have it go to a new receiver ;-)

Hang in there, Reusty-

A break for college students was proposed quite recently, and fortunately submitted via your District VP and best qualified candidate for AMA President, Dave Mathewson, so I'm confident it will get the consideration it deserves. Stay tuned to this channel.......

Just consider it incentive to choose a profitable major.

Reusty2k3,
Seems to me you brought this subject up once before not long ago. In fact if I recall your current words are almost verbatum.
I'm too lazy to go looking for the original post. But maybe one of the residents of these forums might find it. Or maybe a troll,
well its off to see the wizard. hmmmm.

This is another of your, rapidly becoming infamous, opinions. The original poster, Reusty2k3 , has never posted in this forum before, and your insult to him is unwarranted.

Do you ever base any of your opinions on fact? It certainly appears that you do not. You seem to run at the mouth with no basis in fact. Although acceptable for most, a person on your position should know better. You are becoming the stereotype for a troll (no derogatory reference to THE TROLL intended). It is apparent your laziness is one of your more dominant traits.

The previous discussion, started by jworosylo, on fees for college students appeared here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/AMA_...2020503/tm.htm

excaliber, perhaps you should take up residence with the wizard. He may be able to teach you something about posting and research.

No problem, I hope we are all here for the same reason, to gain knowledge and exchange information.

No need worrying about if a Question is a duplicate, or who offends who.

This is a very powerful tool, and searching and reading can only uncover so much information, and it is partially my fault too for not searching more thourghly before starting another thread.

Thanks and have fun

Well, while your at it how about a Military Discount ?? Lower Enlisted in the Armed Forces still qualify for Food Stamps in most places and I dont ever see that changing.

I really couldnt afford the Hobby till I was a Staff SGT US Army on Flight Pay and Jump Pay, the specialty pay is what supported my habit of RC.
