Default Attention Leader Members

Posted on the D VIII list for Dr. Frank, D VIII VP

*********************

Hello, chief,

Please post to the D8 list....

VERY probably & VERY SOON !!

During the last 1/2 of NOV. 2004 the AMA will be contacting all

AMA LEADER MEMBERS seeking their input via a snail mailing.

Prior to that mid November mailing date, all Leader members should,

PLEASE, insure that YOUR snail mailing address on file at AMA

is s a good and current address.

This input will REQUIRE that you receive the information via the US MAIL..

and it will have to be returned via the US MAIL, postmarked prior to 1/1/2005.

IF THEY DO NOT have a GOOD snail mail address on file for YOU, you will be

overlooked...

If needed, contact AMA at:

1-800-IFLYAMA SO THAT they have a GOOD address for all LEADER MEMBERS...

More information about this will be posted on the AMA WWW site as this mailing approaches...

Best regards.

Dr.Sandy Frank

Thanks JR.

I was wondering if you yet have any tidbits from the Council meeting? Specifically 535C formerly 537?

Not sure how, not sure why. 535c/537 is nowhere to be found on the AMA site.

Yo!
I took Sandy's post exactly as he wrote it. That being that the
concept of AMA having a Vice President, (presumably and hopefully
elected) is an interesting concept.
Currently, and in the past, there is no Vice President of AMA.
Should the Presidency be suddenly vacated for whatever reason, then the
Executive Vice President (EVP) shall assume the duties of the President
until such vacancy is filled.
However, and anyone who has read the Organizational Bylaws should
know that, the EVP's prime duties are to be the Chief Financial Officer
of the AMA, shall monitor the financial and corporate affairs of the AMA,
make an annual report to the membership regarding the financial affairs
of the AMA; and shall make periodic reports, not less than quarterly, to
the Executive Council regarding financial matters of the AMA.
Possibly not the most wonderful scenario for a Financial Wizzard
to suddenly find himself doing that job and trying to do all that is
required of the Presidency as well. Food for thought.

Snail Mail must really be slow. This Leader Member has not received any such mailing.

They have an address that seems to work for all else.

Have they forgotten me? [&o] Maybe I'll just sniff a bit!

I did not get any mailing either.
It would appear that no Leader Members have had such a communication. None that I know have.

Horrace the Horrible,
When have you ever seen any evidence that DP made any comments about the AMA without the direct instruction of SF? Do you really think he thought that one up all by himself? I tired to deflect an SF attack on Red by suggesting another alternative, only to have DP try to shove it down my throat as " this reads to me like a very snide cheap shot. Posting denied."

This mess sure does sound like SF's way to build a new position for him to run for and make way for DP. Especially since he seems to reject any comments for that happen to come from me, even when he was begging for input.

Can you build a different picture of what craziness the DVP is up to now? Did you notice that DP is getting off the CB?

Thanks JB. Good info. I will address it later as I have to get to the field to help complete the new fencing that we set the poles for last Sat. and installed the pipes on Wed.

BTW, I did not know that the RCC would become vacant. I hate to see that as DP has been a good one as for as I am concerned and after the early days, he has always been very helpful. The big incident Jetero went through this summer was NOT the fault of DP. In that case the main person that jumped into the fray was none other than the "Brown" himself. Whole 'nother story![:@]

In addition since I am not allowed to see/post to the D-VIII newsline, I don't have any idea what is happening unless someone posts it here.
