Weight limitations? AMA Video
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, it is not intended to fan any flames I am asking for factual answers for my own education. I was under the impression that a plane that exceeded the AMA's weight limit could not be flown at an AMA Field or AMA event, yet several of the models in the AMA DVD were close to 100lb planes. Is there an exemption or something available? Thanks for any answers.

RE: Weight limitations? AMA Video
Yes. There is an experimental class that allows some aircraft with a limit of 100 pounds.
