Model Aviation 2007 Issue!
Just wondering if anyone else has recieved a botched Jan. 2007 Issue? Opened mine up to start reading it and the first 64 pages aren't there. Hope this isn't an indication of how my luck is going to go the rest of the year![:@]

No, Mine is OK. My January RC car action magazine is trashed though, I think some kind of machine at the post office tried to eat it, it's got some strange teeth marks in it.

Thanks Bass1,
I didn't need that.
No teeth marks, rips, etc. Someone at the publishing company must have taken an un-scheduled break.
I didn't need that.

Mine doesn't have any missing pages. You wouldn't believe all the cool stuff on the first 64 pages!!

Mine has the first 64 pages printed just fine. One of the pages was folded diagonally and trapped in the binding process. Does that make it a collector's item too? No? ... Drat, I thought as much. Just my luck, get one chance to... mumble...gripe...fume...!

Bet someone would bid on it, starting bid at $64, $1 for each missing page.

Put it on EBAY as a rare collectors' item with a starting bid of $58.

Speaking of the January 2007 issue, Did any of you guys send in the coupon for the free Quique Yak 54 plane and engine combo on page 63?

Yeah, but when I tried to redeem it he was all out. I had to settle for the substitution of the 40% and DA-150 instead.[]

For what it's worth, sent the subscription dept. an email explaining the the situation with the Jan. issue I received. Got a response saying they haven't got in any other complaints, but would pass along the problem to the proper Dept., and they are sending me another Issue right away.

Actually, it is AMA's response to increase profits, appeasing Hossfly and also decreases overall circulation to satisfy the kid...killing two birds with one stone…problem is that the wrong people got the spilt magazine…since mine only had the first 63 pages…well maybe next time.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that replacement copy. You'd be better off going to the local hobby shop, pay $1.00 and read thier copy...... Yeah, I pay $1.00 library dues to scan the mags at my LHS.......squeak, squeak, squeak.........
