Thank You to the Staff at AMA
We are all quick to point out what's wrong with the AMA - myself included. I just wanted to let everyone know about my recent pleasant experience.
I have just gone through the process of chartering a club with the AMA. I have been an AMA member for several years, but I fly at a private field and have never belonged to a club, so all of this was new to me. I contacted AMA in Muncie several times with questions about the bylaws I was stumbling my way through writing. When I phoned my questions were always answered, and if the person I was talking to did not know the answer they connected me with someone who did. Same with my emails. I always got a reply within one business day.
I know this does not have anything to do with the politics of the AMA, but often we complain about the bad things and forget to say thanks when someone does a job well.
So, thank you to all the staff at AMA who helped me so much.

Every time I have contacted the good folks in Muncie, I always get a prompt reply. I would say that they exceeded my expectation every time. Keep up the good work folks!

The hobby would not be where it is today without the AMA. We are organized. You just can't find an open field and fly the stuff we fly this day and age! We need the rules, regulations and guidelines, something that always keeps us all together, like it or not. The Muncie people are always helpful, pronto.
