Default SO...Whos protecting the members....???

From the AMA minutes:

: Moved by D. Mathewson (II), seconded by T. Stillman (V) to accept the recommendation of the Insurance Committee to approach our insurance company to modify language in the Westchester General Liability Policy to provide primary general liability protection to officers of AMA Chartered Clubs in good standing for vicarious liability for the actions of others.

Heres my question?
So who is protecting the AMA members in AMA clubs from runaway rogue Boards???

Boards that have been corrupted to the point where the organization is no longer operating legally.

Boards that are using the clubs money for there own personal gain and legal defense as a small group?

The boards that abuse thier power to attack and terminate any opposing voices.

WHO IS PROTECTING US THE MEMBERS FROM THEM??????

As for the relevent item in your post, I hope they get the coverage for AMA club officers and I hope it is PRIMARY insurance.

You are right this is getting old.
JC, The same group is protecting them that should be...themselves. When the majority feels like they are being taken advantage of they will fix their situation. Your opinion does not always make you the majority. It is hard enough to find officers now in most clubs because they fear the retribution and slander that comes with the thankless job. It is a shame that the EC even needs to tackle this situation. You have found a new club and livelihood somewhere else, or so you have said, why keep trying to resurrect this dead and rotting equine?

Frankly after a great deal of thought, I have come to a decision...I like watermelon. In fact my favorite thing in the summer is to fly planes, and have a good old fashioned Watermelon bust. You know when you sit in the shade and crack open big ol' Watermelons and eat those things up until you can't hardly move?

That my friends is a thing of beauty.

John Casey, go have your self a Watermelon bust. You need it. In fact you are in more dire need of some sort of distraction like a Watermelon bust than any other human suckin air right now.

I just thought of something else. Imagine a life so bitter and full of bile that you have to bring this up again. Man it sucks to be you John. Seek help...and quickly.

So...anyone up for a Watermelon bust?

Once again this subject has been debated up one side and down the other, so I am locking this thread as well. Thanks Dave
