J_R RIP
Jean Rondot aka J_R who used to frequent this forum lost his two-year battle with cancer on 5/24/07 with his wife at his side. Jean and I were best friends in junior high and high school and maintained contact over the years. His love of modeling began early and at fourteen he was cutting his own design U-control kit for the LHS to help pay for his hobby.
I'm not sure what other forums he frequented so thought this would let folks know. Moderator: please move it if you see fit. I have no further information at this time.

RE: J_R RIP
Very sad news indeed. JR and I had many a cross ways situation, and strong differing opinions, however it did make life interesting. I am very sorry that I was so completely unaware of his illness.
In the aviation world we call it that "last flight west". So, JR, may you rest in peace on this last flight into the setting sun and find that eternal peace. You have been missed already. My sincere condolences to your family.

I'm sorry to hear this sad news. I didn't agree with J_R much, but he always inspired thought. When he left this forum, it went downhill IMO. Many prayers go out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
