Comments on AMA's survey?
I found the findings of AMA's survey in the June 2007 issue of Model Aviation to be very interesting! It seems far more of us are of the opinion the AMA is doing a good job, then not. There are other interesting tidbits to glean from this information. Apparently more then 7,000 people responded, which I think is quite a high percentage for these types of interactions.

RE: Comments on AMA's survey?
I guess I couldn't say why this is occuring. To say that 5 years is as long as newer people can hold an interest in an activity, doesn't work and isn't fair, as age is diverse amongst the membership. Was there some event which got people into the hobby 5 or so years ago? Was it inexpensive ready to fly electrics? Having only gotten back into R/C three years ago after a 10-12 year hiatus, my memory lacks.
