RE: BAD CLUB JUJU?
... our club voted to leave the landowners proprty and then they charteer a set of feilds 2 miles away to block the ability of the club to get a charter and they are doing this because they have a descrepancy with the owner and his friend,
woah, that is a mess to follow
"our club voted to leave the landowners proprty "
ok, so far so good
"and then they charteer a set of feilds 2 miles away"
um, "they" who? The club that just vacated their site?
"to block the ability of the club to get a charter"
WHAT? Some new club or the original one that just vacated?
Please clear up a lot of the "they"s and "the club"s as to original club and any new clubs.
If these clubs have names please use them,
cause I dont get it when you say the club chartered nearby to block the club, but then you speak as the new site owner trying to cancel a charter to protect the landowner
(So the original club re-chartered near the old site to stop the old site from chartering a new club?)

RE: BAD CLUB JUJU?
Call your District VP.
AMA charters clubs (people), not fields. Your DVP should be able to help you get your land unlisted as the clubs flighting site, probably by mandating the club officers update their record to exclude your landowner revoked site. The club will have to list another location instead of yours. Your DVP should be able to lay down the law with the club to appease the landowner(you).
Rememebr though
as the landowner you can lay down the law with the club if they want to use your property.
Even so far as to put whatever wacky stipulations in the use agreement... like food is ok but no Ham Sandwiches, or the club MUST enter a freq sharing agreement giving 10ch to the other club.
And Presto!
AMA wont charter the old site as a new club with another club near.... without a signed freq sharing agreement. You (as the new landowner) stipulate the original club must give channels & sign the freq share for them to use your property. Then the two clubs can exist as close neighbors with Muncie's blessings
NOw, if you want this to get ugly...[>:]
AMA requires clubs to bend over if there is a freq conflict
which is something NON-ama dont have to do.
The old site can simply let their AMA laps in January, taking them out of the frequenct seperation rules and they can fly because it is america an americans can fly as a non-AMA private club.
But the original club will still be subject to freq conflict rules,
and they will get shut down by Muncie if they try to fly while there is a know freq seperation conflict (with the non-ama private club<oldsite>). How will this happen? Because the oldsite private club will contact the AMA district FreqDude and tell him about the AMA club conflicting with them without a sharing agreement. Private clubs are not required to have a freq sharing deal but AMA clubs are... Muncie will shut down the AMA club if the oldsite private club wont sign[:@]
But, I may be off on a few details
so you should contact your DVP and District FreqDude
and let us know what they say.

Well, again, the man who is to be contacted on channels, is the man who is enemies with the man whos supposed to contact him, and the man with our chnnels said he aint givin em crap. SO the other club cannot get channels, and theyve been set up and used pix off their(other club) site of 72mhz radio( which happened to be a buddy box connected to a futaba 2.4) and got their 2.4 charter revoked, then the right for the 2 people trying to get the charter from being able to get the charter/ based on lies........ its amazing AMA hadnt caught on yet....... but my problem is for ME, I want the other club to get thier stuff together, and then I could fly there to, BUT I will for sure get banned from our club( from my flying buds) over going to the AMA with the truth....... or get our stuff yanked by the AMA, because this again is held by the same guy.
This is why I have quit clubs.... this is why me and the pals all are going 2.4 then we are just gonna fly at whereever, plenty of sod here, with landowner permission on 2.4... we call this rouge piloting. frown on me if you will, but there are 3 clubs run and charterd by 1 person and we are screwed no matter what. we fly 2/4 we wont interfere, and all our planes have HUGE spektrum logos on ther bottom, if you see the plane you know its 2.4!

RE: BAD CLUB JUJU?
Well, if it comes down to quitting clubs,
then drop the $58 AMA membership for January and then notify the ama district freq guy that the old site is a non-ama group flying withing the Seperation distance Muncie has put out. Then the district guy will have to make the original club get a freq sharing agreement (ama club & non-ama site), or the club will not be allowed to fly. As nonmembers the original land owner has far more rights given to them by Muncie than as members. Muncie will shut down a club for flying with a known conflict, but Muncie cannot ask non-ama groups to not fly.
Then, after a freq sharing agreement (amaclub & non-ama group) is signed (Feb?)
the original site owner can rejoin AMA to go for a charter because he has freq sharing plan in place.
The guys that voted to leave and attempted to block the original land owner have to play nice or have Muncie shut them down for known freq conflic.
You could of course let the guys know this is what will be done if they dont play nice,
and give them a chance to avoid the ugliness by signing a freq deal before Muncie comes in heavy handed.
You should have a chat with Jugflier
...what district are you in?

You have that right. You have to wonder what the other side of the story is.
