Default Pegasus HPES clutch

Hello all.

My Pegasus HPES has a problem with the clutch slipping(worn "O" ring?), so I have tried to remove the front cowl as per the instructions, but
it will not come off. Any suggestions?

Best regards, Frank.

Take a plastic or wooden dowl and a soft mallet and tap very lightly on the nose cowl to remove it. After a period of time, they become lodged in place. It is a very close tolerance, so be extremely careful! The same diligence applies to replacing the starter O-ring.

Thank you for your response Mark.

When you say tap lightly with a "malet and plastic/wooden dowel", which part of the cowl do I target and in what direction?

It is proving to be quite a headache!

Thank you for your response, Frank.
