Shorter thermocouple lead?
Is it possible to shorten the AMT thermocouple lead without any adverse running / temp calibration effects?
I could ideally do with the lead being aprx 8 inches in length. As supplied it must be no less than two feet!!
p.s any news on kerostart being available anytime soon?

RE: Shorter thermocouple lead?
Hi,
Normally nothing will happen if you mount the colors correctly (white on white and green on green). Please also take in account that not high current leads, like starter/pump/plug, are near the RPM and EGT sensor cables. These high current leads can cause wrong signals of the sensor inputs of the ECU.
