Low supply error on Mercury

Hi guys

I'm getting a "Low supply error" on my Mercury. I have tried everything: Different ECU, different pump, 12 volt battery on the ECU ............... but still no luck.

Where to from here?

Supply Low Error message means the ECU Battery is below 12.5 volts. If you have not already, check the condition of the battery, i.e. one or more bad cells.

Keep me posted on your results.

Mark

It has been some time since I had the abovementioned error. Since then the problem was resolved. I had not flown the particular jet for over two years - due to transit storage. During this time the ECU battery had been left plugged in on the ECU - must have been fully charged to start with. This caused 'black lead corrosion" to creep into the ECU - all the way past the ECU switch and actually onto the PCB. Once the ECU was sent back to AMT Netherlands the problem was easily rectified. The "black lead" resistance was great enough for the voltage to be below the minimum, nothing wrong with my (new) battery that I plugged in at the time.
