Calmato Sport 60 with retracts
Hi gents.
Just wanted to show some photos of what I've been doing to my Calmato 60.
It's kinda straight forward, but it takes time and patience to make.
The retracts are air up and spring down. One of the supports is fixed on the main spar area and the other side is fixed on a glued hardwood bearer between the ribs. Two ribs have to be cut a bit for the wheels to fit inside the wing structure.
All the rest is stich and glue.
The retracts are self-contained on the wing, with the servo, valve, filler valve and air tank on the middle of the wing, with good space inside the Calmato fuse to accommodate the extra volume.
