I bet it means he finally finished a long build and set up, not.

I bought this ARF in 2008; maidened about 2 months ago. ( It doesn't pay to rush these things). I am really pleased with the performance that the DA50 provides.
I can see this thread has got a little quiet lately, and I realize the product has been discontinued, but are there still flyers out there ?

Flew mine Wednesday. I recently changed it from a Moki 1.8 to a DLE-55. Love flying it.

After a slow hit n miss start I'm back into getting my replacement Patty airframe up and ready for flying season. Bit of plugging and sanding motor box for the electric to Moki conversion.

Today I maidened the plane it is very precise, smooth with digital servos and my jeti tx. It almost lands by itself if you cut the throttle. I hadnt enough battery on my gopro but took a short pan of the plane on the ground.

Hope some are still flying this piece of history, thread has all but died. Here's a couple more pics of this very slow refurbishment. Poor old Patty sits shelved for the most part with other projects etc. Was hoping to have it flying this season but that's looking more and more unlikely. Here's to hoping anyway. Seasons greetings to all the Patty flyers out there.

Still in the market for a canopy and cowl if anyone can help. Cowl needs to be finished not a blank. Thanks

Thanks, unfortunately with the $AUD to $US conversion atm plus shipping would make it unviable for me, then I would still need to paint and finish. I may be interested in tinted canopy only. Will pm for more info and pics of product pre-purchase.

Hi. It is some kind of semidesertic area. The camera is a mobius 2 and it is mounted using a simple velcro from 3M, but it is a plastic velcro. I will send you a picture when I get back home.
