RE: Hobbyking.com shipping wories
Thaks for the explanation on the lipo shipping Helicraz.I just rcvd my small order from HK and I saw that it routed through Switzerland, and I was a bit confused by that. But now I know why.Shipping overall took about 2 weeks, which considering its route,is quite understandable.Everything came in perfect shape and just what I ordered.I'm quite pleased with my first HK experience.

RE: Hobbyking.com shipping wories
I am sure they got backed up with Chinese New Year it always happens. I am starting to get groups of packages together that were ordered at different times. Also noticed that the backorder list is all over the place. one day backordered, next day 20+, next day return to backorder.
As was mentioned before if you are in the US, need it for a current project, pay the preimum & go to a US supplier.

RE: Hobbyking.com shipping wories
Anyway, my order arrived in just 3 weeks. not bad. Everything seems fine quality, except one of the 2 lipo's has a problem.[]
I couldn't get any current from it, and it wouldn't charge. Then I happened to squeeze the sides of the battery on the end where the wires come out and it would then complete the circuit. I had already changed the connectors which would void the warrantee, and it wouldn't be worth sending back a $9 battery and waiting several months anyway.
Does anyone think it would be safe to unwrap the battery and see if I could resolder something?

you could be right! it's never the same week and this year it started on the 23rd of Jan. And it's the year of the Dragon!
BTW I see some movement in the HK warehouse, it shows (that) my order has been printed & it's being packed (fingers crossed)...
So HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the Chinese out there!
Cheers, V.
