Default Bought a Ultra Stick 120 today for $39

Im at the hobby shop today, and the owner said "Hey, you like ultra sticks, one just came in on consignment." It was a never flown Ultra Stick 120 (not lite). It was a little rough, but when he said "I'll give it to ya for, $49.99". I thought he was joking! I was there picking up a Pulse 125, and when he was ringing me up, he said he would give me the US 120 for $39. Sweet! I'll be mounting a G-26 on it. I'll post some picks tomorrow.

Good for you, but I would hate to be the seller of the model on consignment.

If you like ultra sticks, you also like mini sticks, don't you? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=17181

He had a bunch of stuff from the same guy, they agreed on a single price for everyone.

Well now. That's a horse of a different color. Where have I heard that recently?

Busy weekend. I went to the hobby shop today to pick up a couple of props and a gal of 20/20. I asked about the stick that I bought. The shop owner bought the 120 out right out of the items he brought in. It's mainly a consignment shop, so I assumed it was on consignment. Other way, I like it! It makes my 3rd US 120. 2 lites, and 1 non-lite 120. I really weird to look over an older 120 compared to the newer lites. This thing is a tank. I have a G-26 and DLE 30 just sitting on the bench. Don't know if I want to use the 30 on it. I can use the 30 on more planes than the g26. I will take some picks tonight.

The plane was 90% set-up by the previous owner. You might notice the holes/blind nuts were never put into the blocks for the wing. The wing has never had control horns and the servo pockets have no mounting holes drilled for the servos. It had a Zenoah mounted to the firewall (Zenoah 3 hole bolt pattern), and I have an extra G-26 on the bench so its going on the front. Im going to check the CG before getting too carried way. I might have to move the fire wall. Then again, the tail on this plane is heavy, so maybe not. I through in a pic of my new Pulse 125 with the Saito on it.

Oh ya, it came with the three servos in the pictures.
