Anyone have a GP Eagle 580 w a 55AX?
I was wondering if anyone has a Great Planes Matt Chapman Eagle 580 with
an OS 55AX and if so how do you like it?

I had one, but then upsized to a .75AX. It's quite a heavy model and .55 is fine for basic aerobatics, but if you want to fly 3D you'll have to step up.

I'm building one now.
My son gave it to me for Father's Day.
We also have the Matt Chapman Cap 580 55" with the .55AX in it.
It's the fastest plane in our hanger. It will also climb slap outta sight.
Plenty power for anything.
Can't wait to see this one fly.
Using the .55AX should keep the weight down as it did in the older Cap 580.
Anyways it should fly just fine with the .55AX.
Hopefully we'll maiden her this weekend or next.
