RE: Seagull Sparrow Hawk 62cc
Very nice job on the plane. I have the same plane, upgraded to the bisson pitts muffler, installed a 25% tigermoth panel, pilot from aces of Iron, etc.
I had a lot of trouble with the CG, if its even a little bit (10-20mm) forward of reccomended spot, the elevator cant flare it on landing, and had a few prangs that crippled the seagull undercarraige and punctured the wing, but 150g of lead on the tail sorted that out very quickly.
I have since installed robart spring oleos, no more undercarraige worries. I am thinking of changing the tail wheel, looks a bit small as per the kit.
Here is a video of mine flying up in the Wicklow mountains here in Ireland.

Yes, I have the same CG, 100mm (4") back from the root of the wing, dont be tempted to bring it forward as you might do normally for a maiden etc, it has to be bang on, give the large moment arm of that beautiful tail!
