Really would like to see more of the details you are adding. I keep looking at this one for my first warbird. What are you doing for power?

Looking very good. That Zero is awesome! I have been wanting to do some scale detail and was looking at this http://www.flitemetal.com/ Going to start with weathering on my shiny Camel. Please keep the photos coming.

Scaleman:
Your Mustang and the Zero are both beautiful warbirds, and the Lithoplate looks like it provides an outstanding covering scheme.
But I gotta ask: in your first picture, just below the cockpit, there a decal that says "US Army P-47D" on the top line. Mistake on TopFlite's part? Or one of those rare historical anomolies that make scale ships so much fun?

Hi, sorry been away to Rome for the weekend....
the foil doesn't add weight...the lithoplate can if it's done in huge amounts....just have to be selective on what panels you make up as you can see i haven't done all the ones on the wing...i want to create the 'effect' of panels.....also the full size had painted wings at the factory, the fuz being left natural....here i will add more litho.
lol......the text you mention came off a set of decals i had for my yellow aircraft P47...so you are right...it's for the wrong aircraft....lol....will be doing more this week..underside of wing
cheers
