Default RV-4 And 60 Size Stylus, Both 70

Hello Fellow Flyer!

Ok so My questionthis. Ijust got a sweet RV4 and after reading reviews I am seein ghtat she is SOSIMPLE to land that she just floats in, not even using the flaps she has. I am trying to figure out if anyone has experience with both planes and if in fact this is true..

This will be My first Aerobatic type of plane but again from what Iam hearing, the adjustmant is a cake walk. I mean with My stylus Ican cut the throttle half way into My turn on approach for landing and from what Ihave read about the RV4 it is quite the same or at the least VERYsimilar. Now My Stylus has a Thunder Tiger 91s and My New RV4 Has an OS 75.

Now I also have a question about prop size with that plane/engine combo. Can I continue to use the 14x6 prop Iwas using on that engine when it was on My NOWdestroyed during her Maiden Flight"Extra 300S"even though she is still being broken in or Ialso have a few 15x6 propsif that one is possibly better.,

I just want to make sure that what I was reading is in fact correct, Imean to hear that there is a Aerobatic plane that adds all the stuff I wish I could do with My Stylus, that is almost a trainer and takes away all the crap you normally get with landing an aerobatic plane like wing stalls, having toland at a 1000mphand so on. Lol.

If anyone is interested in reading this review, here is the link for it. Is rather good reading, all the crap this dude put her through. http://tech.flygsw.org/rv4review.htm

Thanks Gang.
Max..

first off you will need longer aileron control arms to get enough aileron movement to be close to aerobatic. You will need flaps to land as it will float clear across the field without them. It will tip stall without flaps trying to do a 3 point landing. It flys great has no bad tendicies of any kind , it is a gentle flyer. I have os 91 four stroke with a 14x6 apc, which flies very scale. The only problem I had was my spinner was bad, I mean I could never get it to balance, thought it was close enough and lost my muffler after several flights, had mine for 3 years now, love it.

Everything is all set up and good to go, Flaps all set up and throws are rather good.

Also, Ihave a 14oz tank in Her. About how long of normal flight will that give Me? There is LOADSof room so thinking of going bigger if the 14oz isnt that great. Again, wondering onNORMAL pattern flying.

THanks Guys.
