RE: ECOMRC/YT Scottish Aviation Bull Dog
I have had to change the DLA to a DLE 30cc, purchased from Ian at IAD on sat at NATs :af
I have had too many technical issues with the DLA 32cc, exchanged the motor and still the same problems.
Wished I had not jumped ship but needed to get plane up for Western Park :'(
I have some 7 DLE's 30's and 55's from Ian and no issues at all, it will teach me.
Will get running and ready to fly at weekend, cheers Ian :af

Hey DB,
Your Bulldog looks great. I see you balanced your airplane at 100mm, ECOMRC calls out 147mm. Did you fly it at 147mm? Did you add weight to balance at 100mm? What surface throws did you use?

Kostas - Thanks, I will take more next time I am out.
DB - Yes my CG is at 100mm as you suggested, feels great. I had to add about 6oz to get it there. Thanks!

Well change of plan, I couldnt get mt motor DLE 30cc in time for this build so I have installed a DLA 32cc for an amazing price of £195 from
http://www.whitesmodels.co.uk/shop/page/33?shop_param=.
Well installed no problems, the plug is going to come out from the bottom but I cannot get round that.
So moving onto the radio installation now.

I was looking at the new DLE 35 rear exhaust for this plane. Do you think the rear exhaust would hit the nose gear?

Hi,
Not too sure to be honest. I have had a look at it on the web and got this on it, looks like the exhaust does not come past the stand offs. I will try and take the cowel off this weekend for you and take a few photos and see what se may look like.

Great looking airplane. I just bought one myself from Troy Built Models and am wrestling with what gas engine to install that would require none or minimal modifications to the cowl. Any suggestions/guidance you or anyone else can give would be appreciated. My email address is [email protected] if you could send your response to this address it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,
Great looking model ! Well done in putting it together. Just bought one myself from Troy Built Models and will begin assembly after the first of the year. Can't seem to see where you installed your switches and rule dot. Where did you put them .
