Any-one know what covering is used on the Dirty Birdy ARF? I need to match the paint on the fuse and Don't know what to use. Any suggestions on type of paint and color. I know I need red but what red?

    RE: Dirty birdy covering??

I just read the specs on the airplane and it states everything is painted, so it might be all glassed and painted. Take one of the smaller parts of the airplane to you nearest automotive paint store and see if they can hook you up on color match, they can generally mix up the right color and place in a spray bomb. I always use automotive finishes on my stuff with good results.

I believe the wings and stab to be covered in Monokote missile red.

    Hope this helps!

FYI: The monokote middle red Rattle can WILL NOT match the monokote covering.
I went through 3 cans and none were the same color.
