Just three flyables, with half a dozen kits waiting. Thinking about adding the new GP Escapade.[sm=shades_smile.gif]

I had never seen a SSE until I had to live in the South East for 3 years and everyone at that field had one.

They are a great universal plane that can fly as gentle as a trainer if the need arises

They hold up well to many flights

Thanks sj3cub. I'm trying to decide if my Evolution .46NX has enough power for it... I might buy the Evolution .52NX for it instead. [8D]

Love it. Looks like you may be familiar with it...was it you I bought it from? I see you're from Archdale. I haven't had a chance to mess with it much yet. I've been putting my Twinstar back together. Was trying to get a little "engine out " experience, and it bit me[]

ScottMcM, You are one very busy man! ....
Yep, I've been on a buying spree, but my "play" money has run out[&o]...no more planes.....The good news is that I've got enough to last for quite a while There are a couple on the list that I may not fly for quite a while. One in particular, the Cessna 310, is more plane than I am ready for....yes, they are "hangar queens"...and for the time being, i'd rather admire them than take a chance on destroying them. I don't mind admitting that i'm not experienced enough right now, but...some day .I'm currently flying about 2/3 of the list.

ScottMcM, No, I have not had a Sparrowhawk yet. Did you buy it from Sherri and Kirby at KC Hobby here in Archdale?

No, I picked it up at the Lexington swap meet last weekend. However, I did buy the electronics at KC Hobby the same day.

Super8, i think you are right about the addiction! i have been modeling since 1965 and started in Japan when we went back for our second tour in the airforce. my dad started the first tour, 1958 to 1963. that was the 'tube' stuff. More crashes than successful landings! i started with an OS MAX Minitron 6 channel reed set that cost $168. bucks in 1965.
a couple of years ago someone asked me how many planes i had, so I went and counted everything I had flying, not flying, kit, partially built, in the bone yard awaiting a rebuild! anything that was intended to fly. at this point i'm not sure if i'm bragging or complaining but I stopped counting at 100! I couldn't believe it my self. On top of that I couldn't figure out how I got that much stuff accumulated! I think I have thinned out the herd but there are still at least 80 or so! Pitiful ain't it?
I just went out and took these photo's and I must say that this is the definition of 'ten pounds of crap in a five pound sack'! I'm afraid i will have to up load five more in the next post. I have termed this 'addiction' as 'terminal airplane brain'. bird.

I ain't even gonna try and list them. These shots were taken after selling 22 planes at Perry. I've since accumulated a half dozen (or so) more. All of 'em fly and I don't do hangar queens.
