Default anyone have any arf planes from valuehobbies ?

anyone have any arf planes from valuehobbies ? i bought one of a friend i like it. so i ordered a cub from them i like it but seems like balsa is lighter than my other planes and i can see already i need to reinforce some spots that were not glued enough?

They are the typical "white box " chicom arf's. sold by others on ebay. They are decent but the hardware is typically the bare minimum in quality and the planes (like most arfs) need to be reinforced inside. The one's I've seen fly well after doing some reinforcing and changing out some hardware. At least Valuehobby has good customer service if a problem arises.

Typically the pushrods, bolts,nuts, and sometimes the horns are sub-par. Sometimes not,
If it comes with EZ-links I would not use them. I've seen too many planes go down because an ez-link on a control surface broke or came loose. Use Z-bends ,threaded clevis.or ball links.
