Hangar 9 Spitfire 60 sized electric retracts
Thanks for checking out my thread. I have ordered myself the Hangar 9 60 sized Spitfire and am considering putting in electric retracts instead of the ones that come with the model. I see that Hangar 9 sell 90, 85 & 81 degree retracts and was wondering if anyone has tried putting in the 81 or 85 degree systems? I think the 81 degree might look more scale that the 85 degree, but what is your opinion?
Thanks, Dean.
Thanks, Dean.

I apologize, it seems in my haste I said Hangar 9 retracts and I was actually referring to the E-Flite retracts. Here's a link http://www.ebay.com/itm/160812269998...84.m1423.l2649

Now I am wondering if these retracts will work in my Spitfire. The retracts in my Spit seem to work well, but the landing gear legs are weak and bend. That is something else for you to consider.
