Aeroworks 90-120 Yak 54 Engine Cooling
I'm finishing an Aeroworks 90 -120 Yak 54 with an OS 120AX with a Bisson pitts muffler as recommended in the manual. Built per the manual the radial cowl is not baffled for engine cooling andt the manual states that engine cooling will be adequate.
I'm wondering if anyone out there is flying this plane as built per the manual and if they are experiencing any engine overheating issues.
Normally I baffle my cowled in four strokes and gassers. If I baffle the YAK's cowl I won't be able to get it on past the muffler pipes without first cutting away a large portion of the cowl.
