Default 30cc Sport airplane choices?

I am looking for a new plane for an OS GT33 engine. I am a sport flyer, no 3D but like to do all the basic aerobatics. No trainer needed. I have considered the: H9 Valiant, GP Citabria and GP Giant Sporster and would like any input from folks who may be currently flying one of these or have another idea.
Thanks,
Jim

I just finished the Hanger 9 Valiant and did the maiden flight. Beautiful. I have the Evolution 33GX engine and have run 1/2 gallon of 20-1 fuel through it before going airborne. Nice easy airplane to fly. Tested all the rates (low, medium, high) as per the manual. Flaps are functional and tested the mid setting after slowing down to almost a stall. Not sure I have the flaps set right yet, so did not use them on the first landing. First landing was slow, smooth, and graceful in a 7 mph head wind. Perfectly nice landing. Plenty of power with this engine, so I think you would be very safe with the OS GT33. I still need to adjust the engine for peak power and after the 1st gallon will switch to 32-1 fuel.

Have you checked out the 30cc Revolver and Escapade?

Ditto on the Great Planes Escapade. Helped assemble one for someone using the OS 33 and it's a good flying plane.

I have the GP Giant Super Sportster and it is a joy! 34cc on mine. Big and friendly and a terrific sport model. Some guys swap out the gear but I have the original wing moiunted wheels on mine and I like the wide stance for rough grass strips.

You might also want to look at the Giant Stik. Another time-proven 30cc sport model.

I haven't been able to find a 30cc size Revolver. They make one that is 70" and one 90" span.

EF Extra 78" span makes an outstanding combo with the GT33. If you want tremendous power, put a pipe on it and use an APC 20.5x10 PN prop. It may be the best sport aerobatic combo when set up like that
