Default Original H9 T-Craft resurrected.

Landed this thing upside down back around 2003 or so. It's one of the few planes I could just never let go. Finally decided to get it going again. Had to rebuild the top deck, vertical fin and rudder. The wing center section was destroyed from the spar back. Luckily I've had a replacement cowl and windshield sitting around too.
Originally was powered with a saito 1.80, this time around I think I'll go for a 30 cc gasser. Hopefully it'll be enough.

Mine has had a DLE 30 from the beginning. I turn a 20x6 wood prop and it is very lively and realistic as well. One of my favorites.

How's the fit in the cowl? Have to chop much out?

I used the stock muffler and had to make a small opening for the forward-most corner of the muffler. If I had used an aftermarket pitts-style muffler, none of that would be necessary. I also had to open up the area a little bit to clear the sparkplug cap.

I sue wish they would have one more production run of this model. I'd like to have another.

Is yours the newer version? I believe it was 81". Mine is the older, 85". I'm thinking I may go with a 40cc
