Default GP Big Stick 60 Thrust angles

I bought a Great Planes Big Stick 60 and went to mount the engine (O.S. AX.75) and it “looks” like there is up/left thrust.
I emailed Great Planes and asked them what the correct engine thrust angles should be…

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your recent e-mail. The thrust angle on that airplane
should be:

3° Right
3° Down

Thanks,

Has anyone else had “funny” thrust angles on their Big Sticks?

Mine also "looks" like that. I "assume" it is an optical illusion.

Yes, I know I could measure it, but, why should I bother?

It flies great and tracks straight, and required very little trim to get straight and level hands-free flight.

Based on my one experience, I say put it together and fly it. If it flies right, no need to try to fix a nonexistent problem.

Yup the angles at the point where the engine mount affixes, are correct.

Just mount your engine square into the mount and it will be fine.
